Haka House Meal Prep

Meal Prep has never been a huge part of my health life.

The kitchen is my wonderland... I love to be there and create and I enjoy the process of preparing a meal. Because of my love for cooking, I always protect meal preparation time on pretty much a daily basis, or at least i always have in the past. These days, the Haka House has taken a bit of a turn. We now have a 2 yr old and a newborn. Still pretty manageable in my mind. But now my  husband is leaving to go to the farm for the next four months and frankly...

Shit just got real!

 Making food every week has already gotten more challenging but without a second set of adult hands, the prospect is ABSOLUTELY DAUNTING! Enter the need to meal prep- like real life, legit meal prep. This is in hopes that at 5 pm when my normally peaceful abode turns into a creepy carnival funhouse at Halloween and my normally sweet child morphs into the spawn of satan, I can still manage to put the best food on the table to grow my boys and fuel my own health.
For the next few weeks, I'm going to show you how I go about a week's worth of dinners. We'll include the recipes and exactly what to make ahead of time and each day of the week to be successful with meal time!
